I teach a mindful style of yoga, breathwork, grounding and other body-based practices that help to focus the attention and encourage a gentle turning inwards. This creates better conditions to fully embrace this human experience by witnessing sensations, emotions, vibrations and mental commentary. You are guided to cultivate (and reveal) that healing and compassionate dimension within yourself where feelings can be felt, emotions can be released, needs can be recognised and where you can hold space for yourself, just like you would a dear friend. Classes are suited to beginners and novices alike. Each session is adapted to the needs and abilities of the students present. Modifications are suggested empowering each person to choose how much they want to challenge themselves in each pose. The golden rule is to always listen to your body and to trust its wisdom. These classes are primarily taught in Hatha Yoga style emphasising mindfulness and blending in some Kundalini yoga techniques and other body-based practices. I am an internationally trained and certified teacher of Meditation & Hatha Yoga (600hrs), Kundalini Yoga (220hrs) and Trauma-informed facilitation (14hrs). *Private classes upon request.
